Students should be able to

• apply the concept of polynomial functions

• solve quadratic polynomial equations and analyse the number of solutions

• solve higher degree polynomial equations without using polynomial division

• solve basic polynomial inequalities

• use technological tools to examine polynomial functions, polynomial equations and polynomial inequalities in practical problems
