Objectives

Students should be able to

• observe patterns and relationships in real life phenomena and describe them using mathematical models

• evaluate the validity and usefulness of mathematical models

• make predictions and conclusions using mathematical models

• examine the properties of polynomial and exponential functions using technological tools for solving polynomial and exponential equation problems
