Geometric series

A finite number of geometric sequence terms is called a geometric series. When we add them together we get the sum of a geometric series.

When finding the sum of a geometric series, we need the first term, the common ratio and a quantity of terms

Example 1

The first term of a geometric sequence is 2 and the second term 6. Calculate the sum of the first 10 terms.
