Objectives

Students should be able to

• visualise, interpret and describe the shapes and forms of two- and three- dimensional objects

• apply geometric properties of shapes and objects to construct, use and justify formulae

• solve geometric problems using the properties of figures and shapes, similar figures, Pythagorean theorem and both right angle and oblique triangle trigonometry

• examine shapes and objects using technological tools to solve practical geometrical problems
